Tabriz

The city of Tabriz, situated in the North-Western region of Azerbaijani Persia, is one of the five most important areas for carpet production in Iranian history. As far back as the Safavid Dynasty in the 16^th century and up to this date, some of the most glorious carpets have been created there. Being a huge carpet center, has always attracted excellent designers, dyers, and famous manufacturers, who established a grand reputation for these carpets.

Our circa 1900 Tabriz is of a noble character due to its fine shades of color and belongs to the strictly classical category in design and format. It is in very good condition according to age, without repairs.
