Qashqai Kilim 3

The most charming kilims in the south-western parts of Iran, are the ones made in the Fars province by the Qashqai tribes. The bold geometric designs accompanied occasionally by heraldic motifs, are characteristic of these kilims. The element though, that makes some of these kilims to really stand out, as is often the case, it is none other but the choice of colors. In this case the color tones are more subdued than usual, making this fantastic kilim even more unusual.
