”Odyssey” Archaeological Museum Piraeus, Athens

Bea Bonafini’s Art Rug, Silent Strengths, is exhibited as part of the group exhibition “Odyssey” at the Archaeological Museum of Piraeus. In this exhibition, 24 works by Greek artists are combined and accompanied by 24 pivotal verses from the Odyssey. Each work was chosen for its visual, emotional, and even associative relationship with key words of the Odyssey. The artists, inspired by the hero, the characters, the travels, the adventures, the sufferings but also the journey and spiritual uplifting, compose a modern version of the myth.

The exhibition is curated by Marilena Koutsoukou, on the occasion of Posidonia, and its duration is until September 30, 2024.
