Kirman 2

The city of Kirman in south Persia has produced some of the most magnificent and historic carpets in the world. This 90-year-old piece is very finely woven and is the product of a well-organized workshop, judging from its design execution. It has been antique washed and then dyed overall with a pale dye, to enhance its already noble appearance. Kirman pieces of this type are highly decorative and becoming to both modern and classical styles of interior designing.
